Steady byName,Steady byNature…

The SteadyPac Solo brings vacuum-insulated panel technology and patented PCM thermal control into a single-use corrugated format, built for global one-way lanes where validated performance is required and reverse logistics isn’t practical.

The product story

SteadyPac performance.Built for one-way lanes.

Every temperature-sensitive shipment must arrive safely and within specifications, but not all lanes allow for packaging returns. Clinical sites typically don’t send shippers back, and international lanes involve customs and logistics that complicate returns. Dry ice shipments are a natural fit for the same reason, they’re single-use by nature, so there’s no return box to manage.

The Solo is designed for these challenges, featuring vacuum-insulated panels and patented double-beveled locking PCM plates, providing over 120 hours of validated thermal performance across various temperature ranges so the shipment arrives safely no matter the lane. It comes in a single-use white corrugated format, eliminating the need for reverse logistics.

When the shipment is complete, the corrugated outer goes curb-side. No return freight, no reprocessing, no inbound asset tracking.

Built for

Purpose-built foropen-loop operations.

If the lane goes one way, the SteadyPac Solo belongs in it.

Sites receive shipments. That's all they have to manage.

The Solo gives clinical supply teams the validated duration, universal SOPs and compliance documentation needed for multi-site global trials, without the reverse-logistics complexity of a reusable shipper.

01

One PCM family, one product line. The same plates used in the SteadyPac and SteadyPac+ work in the Solo.

02

Ready for every site. One set of SOPs and documentation across your entire network.

03

No return leg. Sites keep nothing and ship nothing back.

How it's built

VIP technology. Single-use format.

The Solo delivers the thermal core of the SteadyPac family in a corrugated outer that ships once and recycles at destination. No plastic tub. No EPP outer shell. Just the insulation system that counts.

Thermal control

Patented double-beveled PCM plates

The same PCM plates used in the Cube and Cube+. A flexible 2-to-6 plate configuration spans all four sizes, and the double-bevel locking design seats plates correctly on every pack-out, regardless of operator or location. Same conditioning protocol year-round.

Insulation core

Vacuum-Insulated Panels

The same high-performance insulation core used across the SteadyPac family. VIPs deliver exceptional thermal resistance in a compact, lightweight footprint, holding validated performance over 120+ hours.

Single-use outer

White corrugated outer shell

Single-use corrugated construction, no plastic tub, no EPP outer shell. Lighter, lower DIM weight, and curbside recyclable at the destination. Ships flat and assembles quickly in the fulfilment centre.

Interchangeable PCM plates

One plate family.Eight coolers.

Four plate sizes span the entire range. Move up from a Cube to a Cube+ and your team manages the same refrigerant, less inventory, less to qualify, fewer ways to get it wrong.

Double-beveled

Ambidextrous geometry means there's no wrong way to insert a plate, packers move faster and make fewer errors.

Self-locking

Plates seat and lock into the tub so the thermal pack stays put through handling, transit, and inspection.

Color-coded

Each temperature profile gets its own color, so the right plate for the right lane is obvious on the line.

Key benefits

Five reasons it works for open-loop operations.

01

No return logistics

The Solo eliminates the closed-loop requirement entirely. Ship it out; the corrugated outer recycles at the destination. No return freight, no asset reprocessing, no tracking inbound containers. For international and one-way lanes, that's a significant operational simplification.

02

Universal year-round design

The same PCM conditioning procedure runs in January and July. One SOP, no seasonal changeover. For teams managing clinical sites across multiple time zones and climates, a single conditioning protocol cuts training overhead and eliminates seasonal changeover risk.

03

120+ hours validated

Premium thermal duration, confirmed in ISTA-certified lab testing. Whether the transit window is 48 hours or six days, the payload stays in range, the same validated duration the Cube is known for, in a single-use format.

04

Part of the SteadyPac ecosystem

The Solo uses the same patented PCM plates as the Cube and Cube+. Operations running both closed- and open-loop lanes work with one PCM system, one conditioning procedure, one SOP family, and when a lane switches from reusable to single-use, the plates are interchangeable.

05

Lower dimensional shipping cost

Lower tare weight and a compact footprint reduce DIM-weight charges on outbound shipments, and on high-frequency lanes the difference compounds quickly. The SteadyPac Solo also ships flat to the fulfilment centre, cutting inbound freight and warehouse cube.

Job

The Solo is available in the same four payload volumes as the SteadyPac Cube. 3L, 10L, 16L and 28L. All four share the same validated 120+ hour duration and the same universal year-round SOP.

Operator

The Solo covers three PCM temperature ranges and works with dry ice, giving operators one system built for whatever the shipment demands. Add a shipping label and send it, no returns to track.

Why reusable

Built to ship.Built to return.Built to last.

A single-use shipper shouldn’t mean single-use thermal cost. The Solo’s corrugated outer recycles at destination, but the VIP panels and PCM plates it’s conditioned with are the same reusable, non-expiring components as the rest of the SteadyPac family.

Service life

5-year tub service life

One tub, hundreds of cycles, the structural and thermal core is built to be reused, not replaced.

No expiry

No VIP or PCM expiry

Stock the insulation and phase-change plates with confidence, they don't time out on the shelf.

Replacement

Replace only what wears

The carton takes the wear of transit; the thermal system inside it doesn't, so you re-buy only a fraction of the cost.

What the clients are saying

“Moving our one-way clinical lanes to the Solo removed the reverse-logistics headache entirely, validated performance out, the corrugated recycles at the site, and nothing to track back.”
