We design, validate, and manufacture pre-qualified cold chain packaging systems and components for pharma, biotech, clinical-trial, and life sciences shipments across refrigerated, CRT, and frozen ranges. The box is one part of it, the documentation, the validation, and a partner who stays in the process ship with every order.

Our in-house lab lets us take a project from concept through design, manufacturing, and finished good, all under one roof. We use it to test best-of-breed materials, engineer solutions tailored to your specific lane, and generate the documentation you need to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.

All our packaging comes pre-qualified to ISTA 7D and 7E profiles, which typically meet most clients' regulatory and accreditation requirements. If your lane has different needs, no problem: we run it in our lab and hand you the qualification file, so you see the data before you commit to anything. We'll also work with you to complete your performance qualification (PQ).

Every pre-qualified solution ships with its ISTA 7D or 7E qualification and validation report, which includes full chamber temperature results, a detailed description of performance, and the SOPs you need to pack and ship correctly, along with a return-and-reuse guide. You're audit-ready from day one.

Six wholly-owned facilities across Canada, the US, China, and Vietnam produce over 20 million units a month, with capacity to reach 50 million. New production can start in 60 to 90 days, backed by 50 years of manufacturing heritage through our affiliate Rapid Aid.

SpeedyPac is a PCM-embedded mailer built on patented technology, designed to maintain desired temperature ranges for parcel-sized shipments, with the refrigerant built in so there's nothing to assemble wrong. It arrives compressed with up to a 90% smaller footprint than coolers, 50% lower inbound freight, and up to 50% lower shipping costs, in four sizes across CRT and 2–8°C.

The Cube and Cube+ are reusable VIP shippers validated to 120+ hours across three ranges, frozen, refrigerated, and controlled room temperature (CRT), on one universal pack-out, from 3L to 37L. PCM plates are interchangeable across both families, and they're built for shipments where a single excursion means a failed trial or a patient who can't wait.

The Move puts the same VIP panels and PCM plates as the Cube into a rugged carry bag, validated to 96+ hours across all three ranges and proven to ISTA 3A drop and vibration testing. It's for where the cold chain walks rather than ships: EMS, hospital floors, military medical, blood and organ transport, and sales-rep samples.

Our patent-pending tub is an injection-molded, single-piece design that integrates with our PCM plates to provide a unified solution across cube and rectangular configurations. It holds the plates, provides spill protection, and shields the VIP panels, the only VIP design with ISTA 3A certified impact protection, dry-ice ready, and built for heavy reusability, packing simplicity, and a five-year life.

TempAid has partnered with industry experts to provide radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine solutions using lead and tungsten steel shielding and our SteadyPac technology, covering both legs of the radiotheranostic supply chain in one Type A certified box (IAEA SSR 6-2018) with no overpack. It holds 2–8°C for 99+ hours and pre-conditions in about 90 minutes from room temperature.

Temperature, Duration & Seasons

How cold, for how long, in which season, and why our pack-outs don't change when the weather does.

We cover the three standard ranges, refrigerated (2–8°C), controlled room temperature (15–25°C), and frozen (−15 to −25°C), plus ultra-low temperatures using dry ice.

We cover everything from 24 hours to 120+ hours; we have multiple solutions and configurations to meet your requirements. Every duration is validated against ISTA 7D and 7E summer and winter profiles.

Often none is needed: our SpeedyPac CRT mailers simply condition at room temperature between 18–23°C, and several PCM grades self-condition too, removing the fridge and freezer step and the operator error that comes with it. Some pack-outs, like the 2–8°C Chilled mailer, do require freezing 2 gel mats first, and each SOP card spells out exactly what to do.

Not with the VIP systems: the Cube and Cube+ are validated from +40°C to −30°C on one configuration, so you pack the same way in July as in January with no seasonal requalification. Mailers use a color-coded seasonal system plus a year-round Chilled option.

We build a buffer beyond your expected transit time and validate against realistic delays, so a late parcel doesn't become a lost one. Freeze protection is built in too.

ISTA 7E and 7D are generic lane profiles that reflect real-world standard and extreme conditions, while 3A proves mechanical integrity through drop, compression, and vibration.

Yes, accreditation increasingly requires proof of temperature control in transit. Our pre-qualified, ISTA-validated pack-outs plus IQ/OQ/PQ documentation give you the evidence to pass ACHC and other accrediting bodies' requirements, and we provide field-testing assistance against your own lanes.

Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons teams come to us. We bring your pack-out into our lab, run it against your actual lane and season, and engineer it until it passes, providing cost-effective options along the way, then document the result.

Yes; our lab is an independent testing platform, so you can bring in an existing design for validation, distribution testing, or lane mapping regardless of who made it. It's a common first step for teams who want data before changing anything.

Sustainability & Compliance Costs

Recyclability, EPR and PPWR exposure, reusable vs. single-use, and what recipients do with the packaging.

Our EarthWise cellulose insulation is 100% curbside recyclable, and our EPS insulation is manufactured entirely with biodegradable bead. EarthWise gel packs are drain-friendly, and the film is recyclable. The bigger lever is not making the waste at all, since our mailers ship a fraction of a cooler's volume and VIP and PCM plates are reusable.

EPR fees are live in the EU and expanding to the UK and North America, and non-recyclable packaging carries growing per-tonne liability. Recyclable and reusable options let you get ahead of that now, and we'll help you weigh the two against your volumes and destinations.

Single-use mailers and SteadyPac EPS fit high-volume, direct-to-patient models, while reusable VIP systems fit closed loops and high-value lanes with a five-year life that turns a per-shipment cost into a one-time asset. Many customers run both.

It depends on the component: cellulose insulation can be recycled in your blue bin, EPS biodegrades in a wet landfill, and all film and corrugated packaging is curbside recyclable in your blue bin as well. Drain-friendly gel packs empty down the drain, and VIP and PCM plates are kept and reused. Every shipment can include a region-specific return-and-reuse guide.

Standard in-stock items ship in 5–7 days. Just-in-time manufactured EPS and cellulose have a standard lead time of 3 weeks for first orders, and new or scaled production can start in 60 to 90 days. Contact us with the product and quantity for a firm date.

If one of our many off-the-shelf, pre-validated solutions doesn't fit your requirements, we'll build a custom one: we learn your lane, warehouse conditions, payload, and temperature window, run it through our lab, and design the pack-out around what we find. You get the test data and documentation, so you know it works before you commit.

The sticker price can run slightly higher because the specialized PCM refrigerant is built in, but you do get better performance, and that's rarely the whole cost. Customers typically recover it and get a high ROI on total cost of ownership, labour, storage, and inbound and outbound freight, and we'll build the total-cost comparison against your current pack-out so the decision is on numbers.
