The product story

EPS has earned its place in cold chain for good reason. It is cost-effective. It performs across a wide range of temperatures. It ships, stores, and packs out reliably at high volume. These are not small things.

SteadyPac EPS starts with that same proven material. Then it introduces a proprietary biodegradable additive into the resin. When the cooler reaches a biologically active landfill, microorganisms interact with the molecular structure of the polystyrene. The same anaerobic conditions that break down organic waste break down the EPS.

The result is 92% biodegradation over four years, tested under ASTM D5511 standards. No change to performance. No change to cost. A completely different end of life.*

Bio EPS Liner

The cooler itself. Standard EPS resin enhanced with the biodegradable additive, same wall thickness, same R-value, same thermal performance. Biodegrades in biologically active landfills under ASTM D5511 conditions.

EPP Outer Shell

Available as part of a fully pre-validated kit: outer corrugate, EPP outer shell, Bio EPS liner, and 14 PCM gel packs. Validation data and pack-out diagrams included.
